After racing for seven years in Quarter Midgets, Cole graduated to USAC Midgets. Competing for the USAC National Championship, he won 15 races in 22 starts on his way to the 2011 USAC National Championship.
During 2011, Cole began testing full size stock cars for High Point Racing in preparation for the 2012 season. After winning in his Late Model debut for HPR, Cole and his #55 Haas Automation/Creative Machining Technology/High Point Racing Chevrolet would go on to win nine more races and the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series Nevada Rookie of the Year award.
For 2013, Cole will once again be behind the wheel of his #55 HPR Late Model for select races this year while also competing full time in the K&N Pro Series East Division.
